Warm

Support and genuine care, with room to be challenged.

Curious

Interested in getting to know you, not just the problem.

Collaborative

She doesn't have all the answers; you figure it out together.

Solution-Focused

What's keeping you stuck, what's working, and what could change.

Her Approach

Luciana's approach is influenced by Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) and MRI Brief Therapy. In practice, this means she is interested in what's keeping a problem going, what's already working, and what might happen if we try something different. Whether someone feels stuck in their own patterns, a couple keeps finding themselves in the same argument, or a family is struggling to communicate, she helps clients move beyond simply understanding the problem and begin creating practical change.

As a therapist, Luciana is warm, curious, and collaborative. She doesn't believe therapists have all the answers, and she certainly doesn't pretend to. Instead, she sees her role as helping clients better understand themselves, recognize the patterns that may be keeping them stuck, and discover different ways of moving forward.

She also believes that feeling supported in therapy doesn't mean you'll never feel challenged. She creates a space where clients can show up as they are and feel genuinely seen, while also being willing to ask the questions that encourage them to look at something differently. Her style balances warmth and support with honesty, curiosity, and the occasional challenge when it's needed.

And while therapy can involve difficult conversations, Luciana doesn't believe it always has to feel heavy to be meaningful. Naturally playful and personable, she welcomes humor and moments of lightness into the room. Clients can expect therapy with Luciana to feel like a real conversation with someone who is genuinely interested in getting to know them, not just the problem that brought them in.

A Little More About Luciana

Luciana has always loved hearing people's stories and understanding what makes us think, feel, connect, and sometimes get stuck in the ways that we do. Becoming a therapist gave her the opportunity to turn that natural curiosity and love of human connection into a career.

For Luciana, human connection isn't just something she values in the therapy room; it's something she intentionally nurtures in everyday life. She believes life's experiences are better when shared, whether that's gathering friends around a dinner table, planning an adventure, or simply making time for the people she loves.

A self-proclaimed foodie, she's always up for trying a new recipe or finding another restaurant to add to her South Florida favorites. She's also an animal lover with a particular soft spot for dogs, cats, and horses, and loves horseback riding whenever she gets the chance.

When she's slowing things down, you'll probably find her getting lost in a fantasy or romance novel, practicing yoga, or spending time outdoors. She also loves traveling, exploring new cultures, dancing with friends, and planning her next adventure. And if she's recently read a book she loved, there's a pretty good chance she'll be trying to convince someone else to read it too.

“A real conversation with someone genuinely interested in getting to know you, not just the problem that brought you in.”
