Understanding Your Algorithm

A Social Media Wellness Group for Teens

We're not here to tell teens to put their phones down. We're here to help them understand what happens when they pick them up—how the algorithm shapes their attention, their mood, and how they see themselves—and how to take back control.

What Your Teen Gets

Real understanding, not another lecture

Teens have heard "get off your phone" plenty. This is different—it's the how and the why, with tools they'll actually use.

01

A clinician who studies this

Led by a doctoral-level therapist whose research is on how social media shapes teen anxiety, mood, and identity.

03

Tools that fit their life

Practical skills for anxiety, comparison, boredom, and screen-time—without being told to quit social media.

02

A small group of peers

Just 5–8 teens their own age—a closed group, so it stays safe, consistent, and real from week one.

04

A plan they keep

Each teen leaves with a personal digital wellness plan—their own boundaries, triggers, and healthier habits.
