About Ana

Ana Sanchez Varela is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who completed her master's degree at Nova Southeastern University. She has experience working in both the inpatient and outpatient settings treating a wide range of mental health issues. Additionally, she can also provide therapy in Spanish.

Therapy is her passion, and her goal is to help clients feel comfortable enough to go to that frightening place in their mind knowing that they are safe and that she is right there with them. Ana likes to empower her clients to fight back and have the courage to live life the way they want to.

A therapist’s job is not only about observing others but also looking within, it’s about facing your own fears so that you can in turn help others face theirs. Ana knows what it’s like to be on the other side of the couch, and how daunting the thought of opening yourself up to a stranger can be. Therefore, her counseling style is warm and judgement free because she understands that trauma is hard, fear is paralyzing, and self-doubt can rob clients of countless opportunities.

You can choose to face your truth and be your most authentic self and she would love the chance to walk with you in this journey of healing, self-awareness, and discovery.
